Willi Tomes (*1979) is a Berlin based artist who studied from 2001-2006 at UdK Berlin. In 2006, he graduated under Prof- Wolfgang Petrick and with the title “Meisterschüler”. His preferred materials are vinyl, polyethylene and findings from the consumption craze.
Out of these materials he creates images, sculptures and installations. Besides his artistic creation, he is also on the road as DJ IIo Pan (Dusty Ballroom) through the Berliner nightlife … a fact that only partly describes the destroyed vinyl in the atelier.
