Mr. Woodland grew up and still lives in Erding, a small town close to Munich. He sprayed his first graffiti in 1993 at the age of 12. He only works with characters and describes his style as a combination of illustration, surrealism and graphic elements with a focus on high and large walls.
Everything is very picturesque and leaves space for interpretation. He does not see himself as a graffiti writer, though he has roots in graffiti writing. He is just painting and does not put himself into a certain category. As a graphic designer, he runs the creative studio TOXIC PLAYGROUND that specializes in design, photography and urban art. He has painted artworks and attended exhibitions in various European countries.
